about

Sutclyffe is a vibe... it is a place, a room, it is accepting. It is relaxing and enjoying. it is love, too, but most things are. It is mourning, it is anger - it is letting go - mostly. It is hanging around the periphery - the 'what-if' in the ointment. In the soup. In the soap. In the sopapilla.

I am not John, Paul, George, or even Ringo. I was not there. I won't ever be there. This is fine - everything has worked out okay.

I am attempting to become a surrealist - a collage-ist. But I yam what I yam - totally tubular. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothingness. Nodding less. Sober and so blurred. There is still a residue. Do you? I do.

And I am grateful.

And for 51 minutes I am Sutclyffe.

Enjoy.

released October 6, 2023

Mostly composed, performed, and produced Bruce Enloe - track six was (incredibly well...) written by Alice Bell - track 7 (beautiful) lyrics by Glenna Hunter, track 10 includes a studio take of one of my compositions produced and performed by Kevin Allen, Gene Cornelius and me back in the 90s somewhere in California... then reimagined through a busted refractroscope in my basement more recently.

about

Bruce Enloe Kemptville, Ontario

Genre Fluid.

Yes, some of it is funny, but not all of it... and, yes, some of it sweet, but it's not just that either. Some of it is weird... because... cantaloupe!

All of it is lyric driven songwriting at the core from a well traveled musician based in Kemptville, Ontario who is widely known for playing at Farmers' Markets in exchange for free vegetables.

Will work for beets.
